This Privacy Policy explains how Scypion Finance (“Scypion Finance,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use this website (the “Site”). Effective June 19, 2026.
Our approach
We treat the information you share as something held in trust, and we are deliberate about collecting as little of it as possible. Data minimalism here is the default we design around, not an afterthought bolted on once the analytics are already running.
What we collect
- Information you give us. If you subscribe to the newsletter, we store the email address you provide. If you contact us, we keep your message and the details you choose to include. Nothing more is required of you to read the Site.
- Information collected automatically. As with virtually every modern site, our providers may record standard technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and the pages you view, for the ordinary purposes of keeping the Site secure, reliable, and worth improving.
- Preferences kept on your device.Your reading preferences, such as your light or dark theme and which articles you have opened, are stored in your own browser’s local storage and are never sent to us. See our Cookie Policy for the full picture.
How we use information
- To send the newsletter you signed up for and to respond to messages you send us.
- To operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Site.
- To understand, in aggregate, which content is useful and where the Site is confusing.
- To comply with the law and to protect our rights, our users, and the public.
- We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Service providers
We run a lean Site, and we rely on a small number of reputable third-party providers to operate it, for example to host the Site, to deliver the newsletter, to measure aggregate usage, and to store our content. These providers may process limited information on our behalf, under agreements that restrict them to providing their service to us, and we share only what each one needs to do its job. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our legal rights.
Cookies and analytics
The Site itself sets no cookies for visitors; your preferences live in local storage on your device. Where we use analytics or performance tools, they may set their own cookies or collect aggregate, device-level metrics so we can see which articles help and which confuse. We look at patterns, not people. See our Cookie Policy for details.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above. Newsletter subscribers are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your address. Messages you send are kept as long as needed to handle your request and our records. Aggregate and de-identified data, which does not identify you, may be kept longer.
How we protect it
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the limited information we hold, and we choose providers that do the same. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so while we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. To make a request, contact us or email contact@scypionfinance.com, and we will respond within the time the law requires. We may need to verify your identity before acting.
Visitors outside the United States
We operate the Site from the United States, and the providers we use may process information in the United States or elsewhere. If you use the Site from another country, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries whose data-protection laws may differ from your own.
Children’s privacy
The Site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We will post any updates to this policy here with a new “last updated” date. Material changes will be reflected at the top of this page.
